onelovereggae.comOne Love Reggae A Public Service from One Love Productions, this site includes a wonderful in-depth California Reggae event calendar and a great collection of essential links. The page has a nice design, and it's clear that this a labor of love from this Humboldt-county based webmaster.


jouvay.comJouvay.com With their slogan, "Bringing the Caribbean to the Bay Area," jouvay.com focuses in on Carnival and Soca music, although not exclusively. They have a nice event calendar for Bay Area Soca and Calypso shows, and are just starting out. Although their site is not rich with content yet, they are definitely one to watch. They include a nice set of links to other web resources.

Merciless site Sting sensation Merciless has just launched his own website. Although full of warlike images, the site itself is actually very cool and comprehensive. It has on a hip-hop flavor with the Armageddon, sci-fi themes. Almost as good as the Mr. Vegas site!

zinc fence reggae magazineZINC FENCE is reggae journalism on the web, straight out of Brixton, South London. Geoff Parker, webmaster and content guru, posts interviews, book reviews, movie reviews and much more to provide a deeper than usual overview of Jamaican music & culture.

Mostly dedicated to Roots artists, they do have links to other lyrics sites and is user-friendly because site viewers can request and submit lyrics at any time.

www.dancehallminded.com—The premier dancehall site with the latest dancehall artist news: Ward 21, Bounty Killer, Lexxus, Baby Cham, etc… They have nice photo sections although the pages take a while to load. Very strong spotlights on artists and sound systems.

www.reggaefusion.com- Brought to you in conjunction with the Reggae Times publication. Inspired by the late Bob Marley, reggaefusion.com is the official resource center for Jamaica's music heritage, established to provide music enthusiasts with an authentic source of permanent information. They are a clearinghouse for all info Reggae, including song lyrics, producers’ contact information, recording artists and much, much more. Reggae Lyrics Archive-- A great site to browse or search, the Reggae Lyrics Archive has lyrics to many roots reggae songs. Artists’ lyrics include Gregory Isaacs, Lucky Dube, Black Uhuru, Linton Kwesi Johnson and more. They also have a nice section that links song references to the correct Bible passages.
