Ginger
Root
Zingiber Officinalis
Ginger Root has a variety of uses and is easily available. Herbalists
call ginger a warming herb because it heats the system. The herb acts
as a peripheral circulation stimulant. Having been used for centuries,
ginger roots is known to treat bad circulation, fever, upset stomach,
cramps, fever, and dandruff, just to name a few. It is sold fresh, freeze
dried, in capsules, as extract, and in tea form. I find ginger root
in the fresh form to be most effective.
To make a ginger tea, use one grated tablespoon of ginger root to an
8oz cup of boiling water and let steep for five minutes. Drink and enjoy.*
